Our collections are going down a storm with interiors editors everywhere. Check out which spring interior trends they’ve been loving with our edit of the top picks as spotting in magazines and newspapers so far this year.
In February, The Times used our Nine School small cabinet in a feature on Japanese Zen interior trends. The cabinet has a neat shape and is inspired by traditional Chinese design, with a beautiful decorative glossy turquoise lacquer which is hand finished in gold leaf with a butterfly and floral design.
The March issue of Homestyle magazine used the Rushbury small sideboard for a feature about a renovation project on a period home. The reader created a sophisticated home using lots of cool blue tones and the stormy sea colourway of the sideboard, fitted the bill perfectly. It’s compact design belies the storage in the spacious double cupboard and two drawers, whilst the oak top contrasts beautifully with the choice of six different painted colour finishes. If blue isn’t your thing, why not try fire engine red or classic cream?
Retro eclectic style
The March issue of Style at Home included our Urban Chic laptop desk in an article about how to create a quirky look with statement pieces and vintage inspired designs. The desk is perfect to give your home office a rustic update, it has a steel outer frame and is hand finished to accentuate the individual colour and character of the wood, making it a truly unique piece of furniture.
Ideal Home featured our San Fransisco lamp table in a round up of genius problem solving furniture for a smooth running life. The sleek lamp table packs in two USB ports as well as a QI wireless charger and Bluetooth speakers.
A light Scandinavian touch
The interior website Dear Designer featured our Signature grey painted wine rack in a country style kitchen feature. Holding 12 bottles and up to 20 wine glasses, the wine rack also has a handy storage drawer – perfect for corkscrews and other accessories. The top is an ideal space for a lamp or a display of family photographs. With a chic grey paint finish on the frame and a contrasting limed top, this is a beautiful piece of furniture that’s been a favourite with Editor’s since in launched last year.
Far East inspired trends are still big news in interiors and our 9 schools white console featured in the February issue of Good Homes magazine. The modern shape of the table has a stylish twist with metallic drawer and cupboard detailing – perfect for making a statement in the hallway.
Modern country classic boot stores
Country Homes and Interiors suggested that you keep muddy footprints outside and clutter concealed with our Mobel Oak tall shoe cupboard in the February issue. The cupboard is designed to hold 16 pairs of shoes across seven shelves and also features a handy wicker basket at the base.
Kitchen garden shades
The January issue of Foodies magazine took inspiration from a herb pot colours on their feature green decorating trends. The Rushbury nest of tables was included in the olive moss colourway. This stunning pair of tables are crafted from oak and easily slot together when not in use. They have a contrasting oiled oak top and are available in a choice of six different colourways.
