Urban Chic range - perfect for contemporary loft living

The Wooden Furniture Store are delighted announce the introduction of another new collection - Urban Chic. It's the most striking and colourful range of furniture we have ever stocked and we've very excited about it.  This contemporary loft living style furniture is superbly hand built from reclaimed wood by skilled craftsmen in Southern India.

Each piece in this stunning collection is truly individual with colourful and worn wood combined with a beautifully made steel outer frame.  The range has a contemporary, urban edge and would create a really unique loft living statement for your home.

Small dining table set

Bring the contemporary feel of urban loft living into your dining room, with this small dining set from the range.  The table seats four and comes with two matching slatted chairs and a bench for a more informal dining feel.  The wood used in the range is environmentally friendly as it's all reclaimed and between 50 and 150 years old.

Large sideboard

We think that this sideboard would make a unique statement in any modern living room.  The reclaimed timbers combine beautifully with the metal frame of the sideboard and it's protected by a resilient satin lacquer which is hard wearing but emphasises the colour and character of the wood that's been used.  There's plenty of storage behind the double slatted doors of the cabinet plus there's three handy drawers running along the top and three down the left hand side, each finished with a metal cup handle.

4 door, 4 drawer coffee table

There are some stunning pieces in the collection for the living room,  including this 4 door, 4 drawer coffee table.   This substantial piece of furniture has lots of storage in the two door cabinets and 4 drawers  - perfect for hiding any clutter.  The coffee table has a steel outer frame which highlights the individual colour and character of the wood that's been used.

Entertainment cabinet

The living room collection also includes this impressive entertainment cabinet which would perfectly complement any wall mounted TV.  The cabinet has four shelves designed to hold ancillary units and a large drawer for remote controls and DVD storage.   Each piece of furniture in the range is hand finished using a unique blend of reclaimed timbers which means that every piece is truly individual.

Lamp table

The Urban Chic range has an impressive choice of five different designs of lamp tables.  We love the unusual shape of this particular design, which includes an open storage space and a drawer.  The reclaimed wood is complemented by the dark metal frame and the matching cup handle.

Laptop desk

Stylish and contemporary, the Urban Chic laptop desk would make working from home a treat.  The clever design of the desk includes a hinged lift up lid with hidden storage inside plus there are two drawers at either end.  The collection also includes coordinating bookcases to make a real statement to a loft style home office space.

Monks bench

Our final pick is part of our best selling range of shoe storage solutions.  The Urban Chic monks bench has a lift up seat and hidden shoe storage space inside.  We love the slated seat design which really shows off the individual colour and character of the recycled wood that's been used.
